Next BRIDG Meeting on February 16

Please mark your calendars for the next BRIDG meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 16, 2011. The meeting will be at the National Archives and Records Administration downtown building, 700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in the Jefferson Conference Room. Please enter on the Constitution Avenue side of the building. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. and last approximately until noon.

Agenda topics will include:

  • Update on ERA Deployment
  • RACO 2011 Program
  • 2010 Records Management Self-Assessment

Prior to the BRIDG Meeting, The Federal Records Center Program (FRCP) will hold a FRC Forum from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The FRC has recently hired six new account managers to better serve our agency customers. Further information about these new staff and the agencies they will serve is forthcoming. Join us at the FRC Forum to meet your agency’s new account manager and to learn about new and emerging FRC services.

FRC Forum meeting schedule:

  • Browse information on FRC services and meet informally with new account representatives
  • Introduction of new account representatives and overview of FRC services
  • Second opportunity to browse information on FRC services and meet informally with new account representatives

To reserve a place for the meeting, please provide your name, telephone number, and agency via email to RM.Communications@nara.gov, no later than Monday, February 14, 2011.  You may reserve places for several staff in the same email, but for security purposes we must have each individual’s name and telephone number.  You no longer need to register separately for the FRC Forum and BRIDG meetings.  Please email Angela Dorsey at angela.dorsey@nara.gov, or call 301-837-1754 if you need assistance.

Please note that new security procedures were instituted at Archives I in January 2011. During your departure, allow an extra 5-10 minutes due to the exit inspection process.

NARA reserves the right to postpone or cancel a meeting at any time. We will make every effort to contact registrants by e-mail and telephone if that occurs, so complete information at the time of registration is very important.  Meetings WILL BE  CANCELLED if the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announces a “closed,”  “unscheduled leave,” “liberal leave,” or “delayed arrival” policy for Federal employees for that day or if there has been an elevation to threat level RED in the Homeland Security status. Official Government closing and leave information is located on the OPM web site at http://www.opm.gov/status/
